We've moved to North Carolina!

We've started a new chapter in our lives. It's definitely different than any place we've lived so far. We're in Chapel Hill, home of UNC and, we're told, more Ph.Ds per square mile than anywhere else in the world. There's good schools, good weather, and a nearly new house. All in all, a new start.

We'll miss the good things about living in the big city, but we won't miss the noise, the bad schools and the traffic.

12 years and two children later, we decided to move. We read a lot about the Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill "triangle" and decided to come and look around. Susan, Bob and Owen went to look while Zoe stayed with her aunt and uncle in Boston.

In five days, we had several job interviews, saw more houses than we can remember with several realtors, came home and found a job at Oxford University Press, and we put our house on the market. In only six weeks, we sold our house in Boston, bought our new home in Chapel Hill, Susan got a job, we moved here and Zoe started school at the Carrboro Elementary School. It wasn't easy but we did it.
